Captain Amasov was a Starfleet officer during the 24th century, who served as the commanding officer of the USS Endeavour in the TV series Star Trek: Voyager. In the 2360s he encountered the Borg, saying of them “It is my opinion that the Borg are as close to pure evil as any race we've ever encountered" in his personal log.
While studying the Borg in 2373 Kathryn Janeway quoted his and Jean-Luc Picard’s logs.
