Krypton Radio is an American internet-only  radio station. It broadcasts music and other content catering to most of sci-fi and fantasy fandom. Its web site serves up new articles on science fiction, fantasy, comics, steampunk and other pop media on a daily basis.

With business offices in Los Angeles, California, Krypton Radio is formatted like a traditional radio station, with music, live DJ's, talk shows, old time radio dramas and other features. Unlike other radio stations, it also produces some of its own shows.

The station was founded in 2009 as an informal source of background music for online gaming, but by 2011 its founders realized that there weren't many, if any, other radio stations in the world like Krypton Radio, so they turned it into a business.  By 2019 they had over 8.2k fans on Facebook.

Today Krypton Radio plays to between 55 and 70 thousand listeners per month in over 165 countries, and has fans all over the world.  The station's content is carefully monitored to keep it suitable for family listening.

Guests appearing on Krypton Radio's talk shows have included John Scalzi, Julie Newmar, John Dimaggio, David Gerrold, Tim Russ, Margaret Weis, Jody Lynn Nye, Phil and Kaja Foglio, Carole Barrowman and many others.

Krypton Radio's operation is currently funded as a mix of Patreon support and occasional sponsorships, much in the same manner as NPR does it.

The Krypton Radiio production staff is also responsible for "Mighty Aphrodite! The Web Series", a 3d animated web series starring the Goddess of Love and her adventures in the mortal world.
