Ray Bradbury (1920 to 2012) was a science fiction writer noted for such science fiction novels as Fahrenheit 451 and short story collections such as The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man. In 1953 he earned a screenwriting credit for work on John Huston's adaptation of Moby Dick.
