The Clone Wars (or the Clone War or the Great Clone War) was a conflict fought between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems from 22 BBY to 19 BBY. The war was named after the clone troopers that the Republic used to fight the war against the CIS. The war finally ended with the deaths of Count Dooku and General Grievous, the issuance of Order 66, and the deactivation of the droid army.
