The Death Squadron was a special unit of the Imperial Navy during the time of the Galactic Empire. This fleet consisted of the Super Star Destroy Executor, and ten Star Destroyers.

The Death Squadron was the fleet that discovered the Rebel base on Hoth.
Battle of Endor[]
The Executor and most of the Squadron was destroyed with the Death Star II at the Battle of Endor. Only a few Star Destroyers survived.
Remnant[]
One of the surviving ships, the Chimaera, became the flagship of Grand Admiral Thrawn when he begain his campainge to retake the Galaxy from the Rebel Alliance.
